The first set I had lasted just about a year before one stopped working, quickly after the other stopped working as well

I've had a Boston Acoustics 635 set for over a decade, but it finally bit the dust, and none of the other desk-speaker sets I've tried at work had anywhere near the bass of the BA set

As I had ordered it to other country - return would be more expensive then a set itself

I really like the set

Anything with a strong bass line, including some top 40, hip hop, hard rock this set is lacking that punch

Perhaps I just received a faulty set of speakers.

I called Amazon the next day and the representative was extremely helpful and issued me out a replacement set and I got it the next day

I never thought I would fine an inexpensive speaker/woofer combo that could replace my much more costly 10 y/o Creative set; but I almost did

Nice looking, good bass boom, easy set up, bought for my computer, liked the enough to buy a second set as external TV speakers (that requires a RCA to 3.5mm Adapter).

Not quite as loud as my last set of speakers but still loud enough.

Not bad for a reasonably priced set of speakers

If you're looking for bang for your buck, I would not recommend this set for sound.

I'd definitely recommend this for anyone who needs a decent set of speakers and already has a pretty nice hair of headphones, or if you need to alternate use between the two depending on what you're doing.

Ok i was suprised at the sound production on these very good set

My third set of these (on 3 different computers!), all work flawlessly

But then again, this was just $40 for a fancy set of desktop speakers with all the features I could think of2- The two side speaker towers are a bit top heavy as there are two great quality speakers in there and the base is not much wider than the unit

But I found the most pleasant setting was essentially maximizing the very lowest bass and almost zeroing out part of the medium bass to remove the boominess

Good set of speakers for the price, but the bass is very muffled when it's turned up.

This little set wasn't that cheap either

I bought a set and they did not work at all so i returned them and had another set sent.

One set was damaged in a move but I bought a replacement for home then another set for work

but if you're the slightest bit of a perfectionist or have a desk with other devices, you may wish to PASS on these and get a better set of speakers.

If you're in need of a good set of speakers on a tight budget, these do very well

The bass that comes from the sub is distorted as hell and overall very "tinny" sounding set

But they are great as a set of mid range speakers for gaming or listening to music casually.

For the price they are a good set of speakers they have great sound and can get loud

For two years, this was a fine set of speakers

This is an inexpensive set with the woofer handled in a separate box.

All in all these speakers do the job for the price, and if nothing else serve as an intro to higher quality desktop/audio until you decide to upgrade to a more expensive set.

This is the second pair of these that I have purchased, The first set lasted about 1 year (for the record, these sound great at first for the price) then they started popping and hissing even when nothing is supposed to make sound
