Unlike the photoshopped pictures the speakers/controller/subwoofer are all hard wired together

I'm pretty sure it's just that the wires are loose inside the aux cable that plugs into the computer.

I wondered if it could be a loose wire, but wiggling it near where it enters the speaker housing doesn't produce any sound

but when I talked to the guy on the phone he said that wasn't possible since the control pod was hard wired to the speakers

Also, wires stopped working

I’d give it five stars if the wires were less confusing and the speakers had a heavier weight at the bottom.

the sound comes out muffled and the lead wire into the bass speaker does not connect properly.

Bluetooth is required even when hard wiring.

They could not figure out what the problem was but seemed to agree that the wiring was messed up OR the cord connecting the speakers to the bass was bad.

Its a great speaker and all with nice sound and bass, but you only get that for a few months before the speakers cut out because the wires are very very finicky

For $35 I strongly feel that the wire in the back of the left speaker should have been much much more durable.

The control pod is hard-wired to the base speaker (the old unit had a plug).

The speakers fall over easily which probably doesn't help, there must be poor quality welds inside or something where wires come lose, I know nothing about soldering but may end up trying on these latest failed speakers to see what I can do since I'm so sick of buying more and helping fund poor craftsmanship/shady business practice.

For PC speakers there should be separate wires for the left/right/sub to the PC's audio connection on the motherboard, in this product there is only one wire (it sounded best on the headphone jack, but still bad)

The sounds is crap, the wiring is crap... go buy Logitech for a few extra bucks

If you’re thinking of getting this be aware that the cable between the subwoofer and the control pod is hard-wired on both ends.

The second set cam with a faulty wire and had to be replaced.
