Cyber Acoustics CA-3602FFP 2.1 Speaker Sound System with Subwoofer and Control Pod - Great for Music, Movies, Multimedia Pcs, Macs, Laptops and Gaming Systems

    • Unlike the photoshopped pictures the speakers/controller/subwoofer are all hard wired together
    • I'm pretty sure it's just that the wires are loose inside the aux cable that plugs into the computer.
    • I wondered if it could be a loose wire, but wiggling it near where it enters the speaker housing doesn't produce any sound
    • but when I talked to the guy on the phone he said that wasn't possible since the control pod was hard wired to the speakers
    • Also, wires stopped working
    • I’d give it five stars if the wires were less confusing and the speakers had a heavier weight at the bottom.
    • the sound comes out muffled and the lead wire into the bass speaker does not connect properly.
    • Bluetooth is required even when hard wiring.
    • Cheap wiring most likely
    • They could probably simplify the wiring a bit.
    • both times I've lost one of the speakers to faulty wiring.
    • The puck is hard-wired to the subwoofer with a generously-long cable
    • They could not figure out what the problem was but seemed to agree that the wiring was messed up OR the cord connecting the speakers to the bass was bad.
    • The control module is now hard wires into the bass
    • but I'm not sure how you could mess up simple wiring and functional issues like this.
    • the wire fell out after a long period of time and the dust cap of the speaker had a big dent in it when I got it.
    • Good sound, rumbling bass, and a good wired remote - not bad for the price
    • Its a great speaker and all with nice sound and bass, but you only get that for a few months before the speakers cut out because the wires are very very finicky
    • For $35 I strongly feel that the wire in the back of the left speaker should have been much much more durable.
    • The control pod is hard-wired to the base speaker (the old unit had a plug).
    • The speakers fall over easily which probably doesn't help, there must be poor quality welds inside or something where wires come lose, I know nothing about soldering but may end up trying on these latest failed speakers to see what I can do since I'm so sick of buying more and helping fund poor craftsmanship/shady business practice.
    • For PC speakers there should be separate wires for the left/right/sub to the PC's audio connection on the motherboard, in this product there is only one wire (it sounded best on the headphone jack, but still bad)
    • The sounds is crap, the wiring is crap... go buy Logitech for a few extra bucks
    • If you’re thinking of getting this be aware that the cable between the subwoofer and the control pod is hard-wired on both ends.
    • The second set cam with a faulty wire and had to be replaced.
    • The sound was OK, but the wiring went bad in three months
    • Great for casual music, doesn’t hit the bass as powerful as I
