I gave the mouse a try although I prefer wireless but figured a gaming mouse may need a wire.

The mouse and keyboard that come with are pretty nice too - I personally have to get used to the mechanical "clacky" keyboard, but other people really enjoy it.

Looked into building a machine similarly for myself and the pricing really couldn't be beat for what I wanted (throwing in a nice, high quality mouse and keyboard with the system is awesome).
