CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme GXIVR8020A5 Desktop Gaming PC (Intel i5-8400 6 Core Processor, AMD RX 580 4GB, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB 7200RPM HDD, WiFi, Win 10 Home 64-bit), Black - VR Ready

    • I ordered this item (see pic) from the popular auction site to add a couple more 2.5" hard drives as system backup and storage since the motherboard will support up to 6 hard drives
    • I would consider upgrading to an SSD hard drive and maybe additional RAM to give it a little Boost.
    • The 1TB hard drive that is in the computer is a good size for the larger file sizes for many of the games released today
    • (There is a universal built in slot in the motherboard so you can easily remove the old graphics card and insert the new one) but upgrading the hard drive can be very difficult (requiring you to remove screws, a fan and after replacing it its recommended you thermal glue heat-sink to it) and can be more expensive which is why I recommend a better processor vs. graphics
    • I know, right?!For those curious, as to the cause of my problem: basically, the original hard drive was plugged in to a SATA port (1) that the M.2 used, when plugged in
    • Pros:+Easy Setup (remove packaging and plug in)+Appears to come with retail version of Windows 10 (rather than OEM)+Additional Hard Drive Bay and 2 places to mount SSDs+Brand Name Parts other than case and PSU+No Bloatware included on install (get an optional McAfee code if you want it)+Good Shipping Material (computer not damaged)+Hassle free method of obtaining RAM and Video Card at reasonable price (with current cryyptomining craze)+Appears easily upgradeable (no soldered parts or blocked access)+Good part selection (CPU and
    • I was really impressed with how easy the installation and setup was, and transferring my old hard-drive to the new system was pretty seamless as well
    • I was happy o notice that a SATA Cable was provided for just in case someone did install a second hard drive
    • However the first thing I did after arriving was to add a Solid state hard drive to be the boot disk
    • I installed an SSD in the second hard drive port
    • Has room for one additional 3.5 hard-drive and a 2.5 SSD drive
    • First, there are only two bays for hard drives, including the packaged one, so if you have a motley assortment of hard drives like I do, prepare to downsize
    • Hard drive is still a hard drive, but at 7200 RPM is certainly a boost
    • My only modification was replacing the hard drive that came with it with an SSD drive
    • I swapped the boot order in the BIOS, placing the new SSD as the primary boot disc and the original hard drive as the secondary
    • I get triple digit FPS in most games (usually 150 in 3D games) and really quick hard drive read / write speeds.
    • I installed Windows 10 to the newly added solid state drive and it gives a nice overall boost to the system.
    • The 1 TB hard drive in addition to the 802.11
    • Fast loading times I expected it to be slower as I have a laptop with a SSD but this hard drive loads almost as fast
    • However, the light in the front next to one of the USB port that corresponds with the activity of the hard drive does not light up at all
    • and I love MSI, It's got windows 10, a 1tb hard drive which gets the job done, 8 gigs of ram which is plenty for gaming the current games, the CPU is great for current modern games, the wireless works but don't expect really high speeds with this adapter, and I can play CSGO 1080P at over 200fps which is why I got it
    • Good value on hardwareEasy to set up, and well packagedThe included keyboard is pretty niceCons:Limited drive baysLimited upgradability on GPU
    • 256GB Ultimate 3D NAND Solid State Drive (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M3Z46FQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
    • I then installed a Mushkin 500gb SSD and proceeded to do a clean installed of Win10 Home (I wiped the included hard drive, a 1TB WD10EZEX) and added it as a 2nd DATA HD
    • I saved the original hard drive - now the secondary drive - to use for media storage and for backups
    • I needed both to show up to clone the original hard drive to the new SSD
    • The price is pretty reasonable given that you are getting ddr4 and over a tb of hard drive space
    • It was a fairly simple move with free drive cloning software from EaseUS
    • Also I bought a Solid State Drive to put windows on so the PC boots up almost instantly.
    • This machine is very fast, particularly if you swap out the supplied hard drive for an M.2 SSD, which the MSI motherboard supplied does and which I did
    • MSI Radeon RX 580 4GB graphics card, 8 GB RAM (single stick,) 1 TB rotary hard drive
    • All I had to do was move the original hard drives SATA cable to SATA port-3 on the motherboard
    • However the first thing I did after arriving was to add a Solid state hard drive to be the boot disk
    • The only complaint is the slow 7k RPM hard drive
    • Turns out that two of the SATA ports are dead and i had to try a third on, Also the hard drive was corrupt, the resolution settings arent working out at all, the video card program for drivers and updates wont work, and everything just looks old and blocky
    • I will add another 8 gigs of ram, I will replace the power supply, and I may add optane memory to accelerate the hard drive
    • When I received the M.2 SSD, that I purchase from Amazon, I could not get the new SSD to show up in the bios with the original hard drive
    • I ordered this item (see pic) from the popular auction site to add a couple more 2.5" hard drives as system backup and storage since the motherboard will support up to 6 hard drives
    • I restored all my files from my external hard drive without any trouble.
    • HARD DRIVE IS
    • 2 days before my return window closed, it started freezing up, and then losing connection to my external hard drive
    • I think 3 more drives and 3 more sticks of RAM+runs quiet+cable management is clean, there is lots of room for airflow on the INSIDE thumbsupemoji-fan lights are ugly as sin, with no way to turn them off besides cutting the cables (may void warranty?)-front panel has little to no air flow with a tiny mesh strip on
    • Wish it was a full size mobo with more slots and more bays for hard drives
    • I love the amount of space in the case to include another hard drive later on
    • I was able to add the hard drive from my old PC with no issues.
    • While I plan to upgrade it in the future (more RAM, possibly a second hard drive and some more fans), it has performed quite well out of the box.
    • the plexi glass side was very scuffed up. upon starting the pc up it goes straight to bios and wont boot the hard drive
    • I used the free version of EaseUS to clone the hard drive that comes with this system to the new M.2 SSD that I installed and it worked perfectly
    • Just got my Cyber power PC runs really well of course im going to upgrade the CPU, hard drive and graphics
    • After that a good Solid State drive will bring the next most immediately noticeable improvement, and finally a new GPU if you can fork over around $500 sometime down the line.
    • The 8 gigs of RAM, the terabyte hard drive, the quad core processor, the graphics card
    • Solid State Drive - WDS250G2B0ACorsair Dual SSD Mounting Bracket 3.5" CSSD-BRKT2Monoprice
    • I bought this hoping to play PC games that the computer can support I fired up my steam and bought some games, it's a fantastic machine and it's capable of doing everything I ask of it to do
