For the record, I'm talking about a 5-latch, hard-shell case made by Taylor for my 314ce - Better to keep your instruments in a room with the most balanced humidity I think.

By the way; unless you keep your guitars inside a hard shell case, I seriously doubt any humidifier is going to protect your guitar in an environment at 20 to 30 percent humidity.

The very least they should do on their sales page is warn you that it's only for use with guitars kept in a hard shell or virtually airtight case

They seemed very close to normal when I place them in the pouches in my hard shell guitar case but within 5 days the material had thickened to the same state as the ones I was replacing which had served me from August to early January
