D'Addario EJ46FF ProArte Carbon Classical Guitar Strings, Dynacore Basses, Hard Tension

    • I find these strings to be excellent for live performances, but do not recommend them for recording because they sound alomost too brilliant even under a good microphone and eq adjustments.
    • 1st string broke while no one touched it
    • Nice strings.

    • Trebles don't degrade the way bass strings
    • These are some really good strings
    • D'Addario is infamous for it's faulty high E strings

    • Unfortunately, the second set I installed had intonation issues with the wound D and A strings with the D one being so bad that I finally couldn't take it anymore and tore open a set of regular EJ45s to replace all basses
    • They may not be the most expensive strings but they still have a good sound.
    • Two strings (E and B) broke within 2 days
    • Nevertheless, you won't be disappointed these, but if you don't have a sharp ear D'Addario's cheaper classical strings will provide you an almost identical experience.
    • The high E string broke after playing it several times.
    • The sound is not as warm as traditional nylon strings, these carbon strings give a slightly brighter edge that helps to project the sound a little better, making these great for street performers and various "unplugged" sessions
    • 2nd string broke 2 days later while just sitting there as well
    • Great strings!
