Lots of rich deep lows but at the expense of a balanced crisp sound

I use these on a Lakland 5594 Fretless and they give me that great fretless "growl" and still are clear enough to cut thru the mix without being muddy sounding.

They are promoted as having a bright sound without the finger noise, which sounds like a great idea, but not so
