It comes with an adapter to connect it up to a fine tuning peg, but this doesn't fit the one on my violin.

I noticed very fast it works, then two months ago I broke the string, So idecided to put the Old expensive E string, but inmediatly I noticed the whistling

It's a fairly "warm" E-string (whatever that's supposed to mean) and definitely delivers on the non-whistling part

Finally, a sweet sounding E string- music to my ears!
