D'Addario NYXL1046 Nickel Plated Electric Guitar Strings, Light

    • The perfect set for my strat and my style
    • Probably the strongest set of strings I used
    • To cut through the hype, these strings have a heavier core than standard electric guitar strings, so a set of 9's feel more like a standard set of 10's, and a set of 10's feels closer to a set of 11's
    • but you can do pretty much just as well with a cheaper set.
    • In comparison, this set of D'Addario NYXL strings are an overall improvement over the EBs
    • In fact, the set I bought only lasted for about two weeks of LIGHT playing before the low strings lost all of their spark
    • Buyer beware...ordered a set for a 7 string and got a 6 string set
    • Currently my favorite set of strings
    • If you don't like to keep restringing your electric guitar, you'll probably like this set.
    • no breaking at all, i tested my first set and went on a 4 month period before one of the strings finally broke, and to my surprise it was the D string not on of the lighter ones
    • If you don't like to keep restringing your electric guitar, you'll probably like this set.
    • I have been using these strings for years, so the second string breaking was clearly a very random fluke, and along with replacing my set they even sent me an extra second string for good measure
    • For about the same price, you can be playing a fresh set of strings in half the time with slinkys
    • For the price though, good set of strings.
    • excellent, 100% recommended , please put in your list a set of 7 string 0.9
    • rusty’.I like to believe there are enough players out there young and old still fussy about tone and the role a good set of strings plays in delivering it.
    • I have used their regular daddario nickel strings & achieved bends from E to G# or even A from the same 2nd string 17th fret, playing for months without changing strings & they never broke.maybe i just received a bad set, but at 8 or 10$ , man that hurts
    • I put on the new set on Mon evening, and the A string just broke on Sat afternoon.
    • ConclusionA great set of strings that might require some work the first time you install them
    • Awesome and inspiring set of
    • I DESPERATELY wish they had an extended range set for 7 and 8 strings, as I still haven't found a set of strings I really love for my 7-string yet, but my 8-string will get along just fine with DR tight fits until D'Addario decides to step into the world of extended range guitars with these bad boys
    • Great set of electric guitar strings.
    • DEFINETLY recommend to try, my permanent set from now on I will be installing 10 gauge to my strat and 11 on my Gibson
    • The 10-52 set is particularly good for me, as I play frequently in drop C#, and this set allows you to get big bends on top strings while maintaining tension on low strings.
    • I like bought this set of strings a few months ago and decided to put them on today and the feel of the strings were nice on my fingers but overall it was not bright they were dull and the tension isn't really good
    • Strings are nice and bright, like advertised, but the high E was tarnished in a few spots
    • Probably my favorite string (at least at the moment)... really nice heavy gauge strings, I got the 1150BT balanced tensions ones, so the 50 low E is especially nice since it's a little heavier than a normal 48, but not quite as chunky as a 52
    • : High E snapped at post during stringing, G & B sticky to slide due to the nature of the metal alloy (couldn't even test the high E), not as easy to bend as advertised - the gauges I run feel like a heavier gaugeToo many negatives to warrant the price
