I can tell that this is, having 2 separate ball joints, will easily adjust to any angle to get the best road view

Angle of vision is windshield view plus a little, but holds in place even on real bumpy roads

But this mount will always be used for important dash cam road trips without question.

Eventhough the camera mount offers better positioning than the original (KDLinks DX2), it still allows the camera to shake around on bumpy roads

This mount is very easy to install and is tight so as to not allow camera movement when hitting rough roads

I thought I would get some vibrations in my camera due to rough roads that I travel, but it seems to be nice and stable.

In NYC we have some pretty bad roads

so I don't know how well it will hold up the camera through bumpy roads,

Update: considering not all roads are smooth, the screws keep losing up and I have to keep tighting them back up

if it holds rifle recoil then it should do the same with tires on bumpy roads

I haven't gone off-road or driven on extremely bad roads, but so far they haven't shifted and don't seem to move any more than the original mounts did
