A great way to get the dash cam off the windshield as my last camera melted here in Arizona as it had a windshield mount

I normally leave the LCD screen on while I drive, I just prefer it that way

Unfortunately it doesn't aide me in finding the best way to run the power wire from the camera to the power source.

About half the camera is hidden behind the mirror and I feel it is a much safer way to mount, than stuck to the windshield.

I tried to raise the mount all the way to the top, but it was still very noticeable
