After about another month, it wouldn't stay up at all, both the arm and the head unit would simply lay down and not support the phone anymore.

The only issue I've had with it is that the magnetic part of the mount does seem to loosen up after awhile which does cause you to have to adjust that part of the mount so that the phone is once again viewable.
