David Clark DC PRO-X Hybrid Electronic Noise-Cancelling Aviation Headset

    • Sound is perfect, mike too, easy ro fold and manage, very light
    • In multiple occasions, different pilots using Bose A20 complained the radio transmission sounded horrible with static, while I (with DC Pro-X) heard the same transmission normally.
    • A20 also has refined stereo sound with a good bass that serves music very well, as you'd expect from Bose.
    • Good sound, good noise canceling, sturdy design
    • I highly reccomend this to turbo prop pilots who want good sound with ANR but do not fancy
    • I tried them in the front and they didn't block enough sound for my liking, but then again I have a big head and ears so they really didn't stand a chance
    • The sound is great ( as it could be ) coming from ATC, when the batts are dead
    • The sound is excellent, it is lightweight, and doesn't "clamp" to my head like a vise grip.overall, I am very happy with this headset.
    • I highly reccomend this to turbo prop pilots who want good sound with ANR but do not fancy
    • While Bluetooth is connected, there is also a low hissing sound.
    • However, DC Pro-X produces a clear sound, and it allows me to keep communication at a soft volume.
    • I use this in a B-737 (classic and NG), works great, sounds great, and very comfortable on long hauls.
    • Good sound (but ANR less efficient than Bose A20), light to wear, perfect for long flights
    • I considered Bose and Sennheiser, as well as the U Fly Mic conversion
    • If I have enough things in my cockpit bag to not allow the headset, the hard plastic D-rings allow me to use a carabiner to clip it to my bag - no issues there
