So the search turned into a new one for her, and I would get her old monitor, the height of which was just fine for me.

My desk has a raised part where the "monitor" goes so having a monitor too too high would probably be bad for my neck, this is the perfect height though.

The reason I bought this in the first place is that at the time i bought it was one of the few monitors in this price range that had a screen height greater than 1080.

Excellent monitor with all of the required interfaces, great color and brightness controls with better than average height adjustment and base.

For pdf files and office programs the extra height is great.

I really like the adjustable height, tilt and 90 degree rotation of screen.

The monitors achieve sufficient height, have a small (relatively speaking) desktop footprint, are sufficiently setback from me on my desk, and are able to rotate.

16 x 10 (much better vertical height/view than 16 x 9), IPS, bright screen, new anti-glare screen (not matte but similar look without the dimming and fuzziness), true zero bezel (top and sides).

Especially like the extra height of the 16:10 aspect ratio.

It also raises and lowers to a comfortable viewing height, unlike a lot of monitors that are just stuck in one place
