what?? aside from the stumbling blocks that is windows, it is a strong and robust machine much more faster than 2008 xeon macpro tower I had at my previous employer
No see-through panels, no multi-color lights, no Klingon-looking design features, just a nice solid machine that does what it's told and does it well.
Overall a nice machine, fires up quickly, very quiet and good value for the buck

The only thing that would make it better would be a boot SSD, but that can be done yourself easily enough

As of right now I prefer using the traditional desktop view, but I see that the new view is like smart phone apps and will offer more functionality with a touch screen monitor .I have run into some quirks with Office 2007 wanting to run configuration set up each time I open Word which is kind of annoying
Also, if you MUST use the few GREAT Metro apps available in the Start Screen, you can also pin them to the Taskbar, IF and

I use external drives for photos, music and videos, in order to keep the primary drive from getting cluttered and slow, and I use a graphics tablet and pen, so all those ports are useful
While there are no flashy neon lights on the plain vanilla case, I appreciate the front USB ports and the fact that tools aren't required to open the case (it uses latches) if I decide to add upgrades

However many older programs that do not take advantage of the extra features are only somewhat faster
