I use the top compartment for my drill bits which is very handy.
The top compartment is perfect for keeping drill bits, screws, etc. safe and convenient, and the bottom has plenty of space for a drill as well as a couple other small tools.
I have put my cordless drill, impact, and bit sets in here along with a spare battery, wrenches and screw drivers in the tray, and miscellaneous bits, washers, nuts and bolts in the top compartment
I am a bit concerned with the cover of the top compartment, seems like after some use it will fail to stay closed
The top compartment is perfect for nails, screws, loose drill bits and drill bit kits, and other small things
The compartments built into each drawer are not adjustable so you get what you get
It snapped right on to the bottom of this, and so far seems every bit as well built as the deep toolbox: ball bearing sliders on the drawer, strong, deep plastic parts bins, locking drawer handle
this toolbox is awesome, strong, well built and with ample room to store all my hand tools
It's well built, fits the setup exactly, and works like it should
This is a well built product and I'm very pleased to have purchased it.
I really thought it would be half the size and bend if someone pushed hard on it because any other $20.00 toolbox of any size I have purchased befor was crap to tell you the truth
It's from the Tstak line, it's not as big or well built like the Tough System line, but for the money it's a good toolbox.
Overall I'd say this toolbox is ok for its price, but not great.
I saw an Amazon deal for the DEWALT DWST17807 TSTAK II Flat Top Toolbox Organizer, buy enough other stuff, get the box free
I think DeWalt has elevated the toolbox to an artform with the TSTAK system
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the drawers are a little shallower than I expected (the depth from to bottom of each drawer is a little less that I thought it would be).
The drawer slides are incredibly smooth and feel as though they are overrated for the amount of items that would be stored in such shallow drawers
the drawers are a little shallow so its good for smaller things, they do sell the one with one bigger drawer so it evens out
This double shallow drawer box is not the best choice for storage of very small items such as washers, small screws, etc
Like th3 drawers, however the top drawer slides smooth, but the bottom drawer rubs substantially against the upper drawer.
