I really loved this pot until it completely quit working last week

I boiled water with bay leaves in it in order to get the fresh pot smell out, washed it with soap and water, rinsed well

The first pot was still pretty hot when the second was heated so that isn't a problem

Overall, I like the pot and will buy another later when needed

I was excited for my mother to receive this electric kettle as she had been using a pot to boil water

It also does not seem to go back on the heating unit well after boiling a pot of water
