Although this does a pretty good job for motion recording on my camera, I (so far) really appreciate EZGrabber program bundled as I can take photo-shots of what I am looking at while inspecting in .jpg format with an easy keyboard press.

The included Arc-Soft software does a good job of making DVD's from the "captured" video and has a lot of options for animated Title Menu and Scene Menu.

I used it to transfer many hours of old VHS home videos to a computer and while the software seemed dated, it got the job done as well as could have been asked for.
