    Diamond VC500 USB 2.0 One Touch VHS to digital file and DVD converter, Video Capture Device with Easy to use Software - Convert, Edit and Save to Digital Files For Win7, Win8 and Win10

    • I have not used product support for this yet as haven't wanted to put in the time that these software issues often take
    • Little product support, frequent software issues, documentation with product extremely poor.

    • I cannot recommend this product to anybody because of the missing software issue.

    • I have a 1T hard drive in my Windows 10 laptop, so I have plenty of hard disc space
    • You'll need to make sure that the cable connects to the Diamond VC500 as well as to the camera, VCR, or whatever you're recording from
    • The video capture works great but the software is confusing as does not work as it should, I.E. once you do the video capture you should be able to pause it and do a snap shot

    • Once I had everything hooked up correctly it worked as it was supposed to, it's seems to me to be a bit more work than I wanted because I have to manually stop capturing the tapes

    • haven't tried the ArcSoft yet) when it comes to it recording the video to the format you select (would be nice to select the output size as well as it should be able to compensate with pixel duplication), but other than that I am impressed with how easy it worked and how good the resulting digitized video is
