Ran the cleaner twice and player is working fine again

I am really dissapointed I paid so much for a DVD player that doesn't work, but this review is about the CD cleaner which worked great and not about the overpriced, underperforming Bose DVD player.

Using a blue ray cleaner on a DVD or CD would be ineffective and may not clean it at all because the bristles on the cleaner are too short and using a CD cleaner on a Blue Ray may cause the roots of the brush to hit the laser and actually damage the player.

In order to actually clean your DVD player, you must navigate through the menus and "helpful" video information to actually get the wretched thing to clean

My beloved Marantz professional cd audio player suddenly stopped recognizing and playing cds.

But this cleaned my DVD player and now it works fine.

It is not functional and it will not clean my disc player.

I bought this cleaner, ran it through the DVD player 5 times in a row and since then my player has been working much better.

You just put it in the player (suck-in-the-disc type on my car), follow the ultra-simple directions as announced on the CD (which apparently cleans the player so quickly that the cleaning disc itself is enabled to be played) and that's it

I have this portable DVD player I have been using for years and was having trouble with skips etc.

I used it to clean my blue ray player.

In minutes both players were working again.

I followed the directions and put the cleaner in the troublesome blu-ray player.

I'm over 60, techno-challenged, and barely know how to work my DVD player.

after i put the dvd in my car cd slot, i'm still getting messages to clean the player

It finished very quickly and I put in a self-recorded CD-R (which had failed to play previously) and it failed again

Then I put the failed CD-R in and it worked!
