I have to assume most of the complaints about this pedal are coming from those who use this in conjunction with a distortion/overdrive/fuzz pedal and a cheap amp

If you don't have a decent tube amp yet, quit buying pedals until you can save your money and upgrade your rig

Believe me, if you have a nice tube amp, no one will know the difference
