I had to refer to the instruction booklet for proper way to delete a number from the call history without deleting the whole call history, as well as how to add a number to the VIP list.
Works exactly as advertised and the basic operation is fairly simple as long as you read the early part of the manual.
The Digitone is the only caller ID based blocker that works as advertised

Of all the call blockers I researched this one has the best features and most flexibility
So much flexibility in the blacklist and whitelist functions as well as excellent default blocking - nothing else comes close.
I like the flexibility that the various program options allow
The flexibility this device has is superior to other blocking devices IMO
At first, its code system of operation seemed daunting, but it actually allows the device superb flexibility and greater power to operate to our benefit

This is probably the single best thing we've purchased that brings peace and quiet to our home
Set up was easy, it was plug and play except that it delays things just enough that my Panasonic XK-TGA... phone could not pick up in time to answer, rather my providers voice mail (which I don't use would pick up instead)
One thing I don't like is that the red button is used for two common functions.

We had the older model of the Digitone Call Blocker for a couple of years and we loved it, We almost got lonely for the lack of a constantly ringing phone - almost, but not quite
Used the older model for a few years and it still works great
I called Digitone to find out when the new model would be available, they put me on their email notice list and I bought this as soon as I got the notice
I mentioned I had 3 call blockers in the past and the second one was also a Digitone (Call Blocker Plus model) but that model had issues and appears to have been taken off the market
I couldn't wait for the new model to become available and now that I have it, I couldn't be happier

Connected per the instructions, the DPB registers correct Caller ID information, but the phone merely says "Incoming call".Having now been through three different units, and having had AT&T check our signal both to the house and on the actual line jack connected to the DPB, I'm not sure where to place the blame.
The Digitone is the only caller ID based blocker that works as advertised
Our Panasonic phones allowed us to block up to 30 numbers, but the nuisance callers just changed (spoofed) the numbers so we could not really make a dent in restricting the calls.
Being able to block a Name is VERY useful since some unwanted callers have multiple numbers but use the same name
Caller ID (makes life easier to see names etc) shows on blocker and headset
