Digitone ProSeries Call Blocker - Call Block All Unwanted Robocalls, Backlit Display, Block Names or Numbers, 1,000 Numbers Virtual Memory, Last Call Remote Entry

    • The only shortcoming of this type of blocker (meaning that you have to manually block most new unwanted callers) is that there seems to be an endless supply of new numbers calling you that you have to block.
    • Others here have noted the caller ID issue, some have had the problem on more than one unit
    • The annoying robo-callers are all sent to the bit bucket where they belong.
    • Connected per the instructions, the DPB registers correct Caller ID information, but the phone merely says "Incoming call".Having now been through three different units, and having had AT&T check our signal both to the house and on the actual line jack connected to the DPB, I'm not sure where to place the blame.
    • I'm not sure what the other call blocker I had did or didn't do since it didn't have a screen to checkwhat was being blocked or not blocked, but I know it was not blocking unavailable callers
    • Also, it was interesting - when the unit died it took quite awhile for the "bad callers" to figure out it was gone... but they slowly started calling again!
    • Will not work unless you have caller ID.
    • Caller ID (makes life easier to see names etc) shows on blocker and headset
    • Kept making calls using my area code and different numbers, including calls which the caller ID showed as “Unavailable”.
    • We get a lot of Out of Area calls and they're uniformly bad callers--except one of them is a legitimate and important caller.
    • Easy to block unwanted callers.
    • Had a problem initially with "Invalid Caller ID" message, but I do have Cox Cable phone service through a noisy digital modem, on a system with eight wireless remote phones.
    • It comes with several types of numbers already blocked All robo calls, out of area, unknown caller and all callers you yourself choose to block
    • Our Panasonic phones allowed us to block up to 30 numbers, but the nuisance callers just changed (spoofed) the numbers so we could not really make a dent in restricting the calls.
    • Highly recommend for those wanting to eliminate solicitors or any other unwanted callers.
    • Some legit callers -- including my own Google Voice number, show as Out of Area calls
    • Being able to block a Name is VERY useful since some unwanted callers have multiple numbers but use the same name
    • You have to push a couple of buttons on the device to block an unwanted caller, after the fact of the call.
    • The Digitone is the only caller ID based blocker that works as advertised
    • It works just as it says
    • Works as it should.
    • I had to refer to the instruction booklet for proper way to delete a number from the call history without deleting the whole call history, as well as how to add a number to the VIP list.
