We put this chair mat in my home office and it was been so nice to keep the carpet clean and to move the work chair around

It hasn't moved and we have medium plush carpet.

The squared edges are nice and the front of the mat extends perfectly under her desk so that it will not damage the carpet which is under the desk in front

Protect the carpet from the chair sliding back and forth.

This works great for protecting the carpet while allowing me to easily roll my desk chair in and out of my desk as needed.

My carpet is right at 3/8" pile, which is at the high end but within tolerance for this mat.

Superb Mat, It has helped with my home office, as the carpet was constantly being snagged by my chair
