Xbox one doesn't like these and consistently looses mic connection on both headsets

It has to do with the weak connections between the headphone cord and the headset

The headset I received had a very finicky connection

They frequently degrade with movement slowly separating the couplings, and then lose connection with the mic

Not thrilled about the adapter but as long as you don't fiddle with it the connection stays clear.

The headset is pretty comfortable and blocks out most of the noise, but the connection between the mic and the headphones is very fragile, mine came off very easily.
