Too much gap between heat settings 210 degrees no boil 260 degrees and a rolling boil needs more heat

Fast heating, the double burner is a very good feature compared to single burner cooktops.

Maybe for protection purposes that it only heats when it recognizes well a pan is there.

The stove top heats the contents of the pan quickly, so adjust the temperature setting accordingly
