Only downside is poor screen quality when sun shines through car windows from the side, but this is a recurring problem with every portable DVD player we've ever owned

Our Dr. J came in an impressively prepackaged box, it arrived in perfect condition, and it far outperforms an older DVD player we'd gotten from another manufacturer.

I have amended this review to reflect the properly working DVD player, but still do not believe it to be a high-quality item.

volume!The player is great for DVDs and CDs, but does need a power source - no problem since it comes with both vehicle and standard outlet cords
