I went ahead and used a piece of string and secured the cover to the projector.6) Fan noise is not bad (for how I am using it) when you have other sounds going on in the background

It does have some fan noise but with the volume up during the film it wasn't noticeable

The fan noise is low enough to comfortably talk over, and the screen adjustments - keystone, focus, sharpness etc were all better that we expected

Sound Quality:It comes with built in speakers that get really loud if you want it to, this is great because you don't notice the fan noise at all

The fan noise from the machine is pretty low and it not really noticeable to me

I had it running right beside my head....and the small amount of fan noise did not impact the sound from the movie I was demoing the unit on with the internal speakers.

and I have to say that I didn't expect this little projector to impress me as much as it did
