I bought these DR Neon Multi-color strings to put on my 5-string bass guitar to "wow" the audience at a party

I normally play Earnie Ball Hybrid Slinks, and while these strings where no where nearly as bad sounding as I had anticipated, the overall sound quality is not as good as with other, and cheaper, strings
