This tape is so much easier to "start" and not rip as you try and pull some off
The tape is fairly strong and doesn't fray off into small strips and has great tack even when the package is chilled in the refrigerator
I use it to "laminate" small items as well as to repair books, attach freezer labels to frozen foods, and tape up boxes and packages for shipping
I sell lots of items online and this is the worst packaging tape I've ever worked with.
I will go to my boxes a few hours later and the tape will come undone and be dangling...this is not safe when sending expensive packages and I will not use it again

Cheaper than anywhere else I've seen for a good quality tape.
Other varieties of shipping tape by Duck are poorer quality.
Other discount tape vendors that we have tried have offered a better price, but the quality was inferior

Nice and heavy duty, but seems to tear and not easy to restart.
But if I had a need for the most heavy duty tape available, one that is noticeably heavier than this one, I would be willing to pay more for the other product.
Was thicker than most tape, hence the heavy duty, no complaints

Regardless, I still think the "Duck Brand HD Packing Tape" is a great product.
Always love Duck brand tape and this product from them was no exception.
I always buy Duck packaging tape, it is a superior product at a great price.
I bought a 6 pack of packing tape a while back from Amazon, but while it was cheap, it was a very poor quality product

I use this stuff often, and the heavy duty weight does not rip or tear when using it with my tape gun.
The cheap stuff either doesn't stay stuck or it's so thin that it gums up
It's marginally better than the super cheap stuff, but really if you're used to and are looking for ACTUAL "heavy duty" tape that does NOT rip and is easy to use on a dispenser, then what you're really looking for is the ultra 3.1mm tape.

It's thicker than some of the cheaper brands and works well for sealing boxes.
I find this tape to be as strong as the 3m brand of similar weight

This is difficult to resolve, and when it is initially resolved, it tends to reoccur and waste a good bit of a 'not cheap' roll.
May be a bit more expensive than some brands, but you get whatyou pay for.
The Duck tape is a bit cheaper than other brands, and a much nicer product than the no-name tapes that are cheaper.
