I wont go back to the cheap stuff.

This stuff sticks well, almost as good as 3M maybe even on par with it.

There are not enough words in the English language to tell any prospective customer how evil and horrible this stuff is

I use this stuff often, and the heavy duty weight does not rip or tear when using it with my tape gun.

It's not cheap - but then, that's because you'd normally compare it to the cheap home brand stuff found in just about every DIY store

It's marginally better than the super cheap stuff, but really if you're used to and are looking for ACTUAL "heavy duty" tape that does NOT rip and is easy to use on a dispenser, then what you're really looking for is the ultra 3.1mm tape.

The cheap stuff either doesn't stay stuck or it's so thin that it gums up

Reading the reviews of people saying this tape doesn't stick makes me wonder because this stuff is uber sticky and definitely requires less tape when I'm packing shipments.

Don't waste it on the task of applying shipping labels- use this hard core stuff for sealing heavy shipping boxes, or for packing your books

This stuff works fine once you learn it's downsides and that you just need to use more tape (I now use 3 pieces of tape to secure a box lid whereas with the Scotch I'd only use one).
