Not sure what happened during shipping but this thing came leaking some kind of goop in the gears under the foot pedal

Wah-wah peddles can be a touchy thing.

However this can be a really good thing if you don't want to cut in off and on a lot and your solo is high on the neck but the rest of the song is low power chords for example
