The arm also worked fine with it "upside down," I just like it better this way because I can see over the isolation shield when speaking into the mic

This adjustable Mic arm is nice and it came with a holder for my condenser microphone

Its supposed to secure the arm into the clamp

The arm seems decent, but the reason I chose this one is because in photos, the shock mount shows an SM58 microphone fitting perfectly

Overall a good product and would recommend this as a budget mic arm.

Felt like the aluminum arms would bend while tightening the arm tension lugs.
