:P I was originally mislead thinking I could fit a whole notebook in the back, but if you look closer you realize the post its go on one side and the other side is about the same size so that would not work

This item is the right size, works well, has held up to some abuse (drops and cramming as much office supplies into it as possible), and is a great price.

So the upper compartment does fit regular sized sticky notes which is what I mainly needed it for.
