While I purchased a full motion mount, I will rarely move the TV, and I limited the mount's extension while mounting the TV in an effort to reduce stress on the mount's attachment to the wall

I had an older 55 inch heavy LED tv to mount between two doors in our bedroom with only a few inches on either side to center.

We will be also hanging our bedroom tv up eventually and will buy this again.

Excellent product, very sound and stable, supports my 55" 68 lb tv, that being said, I do not agree with the image in the installation manual showing the tv bracket being mounted to the arm and wall plate at full extension from the wall, it will move too freely and complicate hooking the top section of the bracket bolted to the tv to the arm and wall plate

When fully extended, this heavy TV makes it sag around 3/8 of an inch.
