They have adjustable volume and bass

They have nice sound with good bass and crisp highs they have a decent volume to them as well.

They have solid bass with great highs and mids

They tend to buzz and the bass tends to distort

The adjustable bass knob is a plus

The bass is enough for all these genre's and the high's are pretty clear and crisp

The bass and volume is adjustable on the powered speakers themselves and was able to get a nice balance between the speakers and my PC.

Compared to the small USB speakers, the bass is an enormous improvement, with a broad range of sounds you didn't even hear before

so I'll give a 5. for the price, these are excellent speakers with a solid bass response, they look nice on my desk and they don't take up too much

Bass isn’t that good

Good sound for pc speakers but needs vibration pad or bass resonates through top of desk or through speaker housing

The bass has that low-mid punch to make up for lower frequency falloff that you would expect from a cheaper speaker

These speakers provide good sound quality at loud enough volumes, but only have about 10 ft of adequate bass coverage

They cut off all frequencies below 70hz so the bass is very lacking.

and I don't really like a lot a bass for TV / speech media

They have 4" woofers so don't expect throbbing bass response, but they are nicely balanced and provide exceptional sound quality for movies without waking the rest of the house.

I don't know if this makes sense, but it sounds like someone turned the bass down to 0 when they're connected to my laptop, but up to 10 when they're connected to my phone
