I'd recommend a system with a subwoofer if you are not going to be listening directly in front of the speakers.

The system has only been used a couple times per week, so the system has certainly not been abused.

Exceeded all expectations...after letting speakers break in they sound amazing...better than my old Creative 2.1 system

They sound as good as my Yamaha system with a resonance you really can only get from traditional boxy speakers

I think would be a great speaker system for a dorm room, bedroom, or small apartment

Their connection was static-y and sometimes shorted out for a second before catching the connection

n’t let the speakers break in fully, but the sound is already far better than I expected from a pair of powered bookshelf speakers

They sound about as good as my M-Audio speakers, and you can't beat that clarity for the price
