Educational Insights GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope
Even the smallest scientists can see the moon up close with this focus-free telescope, built specifically for little hands and growing minds. Two large eyepieces with a comfy goggle and nose cut-out guide make it easy for little ones to use and see. ...
The short, non-adjustable height makes it easy to set up & easy to carry around the house
I had to put it on a chair to make it the right height for them to see without getting on the
The one real downside for me is that because the tripod isn't tall enough to set it on the ground to use, and isn't really that adjustable, you end up needing to find a table just the right height to use
Both felt a little awkward for the kids, like it wasn't quite the right height, but they were able to make it work.

It is a child's toy and a great way to spark interest in using a telescope, but it is only about 10x magnification
It is the perfect way to introduce astronomy to little kids!
Setup took less than a minute, and that included mom (me) doing that thing where you don't read the instructions - I put the telescope on the tripod backwards and my son quickly corrected me and dad turned it the right way
Purchased as a Christmas gift and the telescope itself has been assembled incorrect from the factory so the telescope does not work the correct way.
Not in a clear-enough-to-satisfy-a-child way, but in a twenty-beers-in-an-hour way
Overall, I'd say this was a terrific purchase, and it definitely made a perfect gift for our son
I felt so bad that I gave a crappy gift, that I got back on Amazon and ordered her a nicer telescope.
This was a brilliant gift in the sense that my son was overjoyed to learn of his first telescope
This is a durable product and a great gift for little learners.(I received this product in exchange for an honest review
It's a fine gift for a younger child who wants to "pretend" to look into space but if your child is interested in actually looking at the moon it is pretty worthless.
My 4 year old grandson was excited to get this, as it was one of only 2 things he asked for this Christmas
My three year old grandson loves it, but I can only see through it one eye at a time, he does not mind because he does not know what it is supposed to do.
You can see stars, planets of they're out and the moon pretty well
This is a fun, educational telescope that will inspire you children to love the moon, stars and outer space
I looked at the "super moon" and all I saw was a blurry white blob -- no detail at all
First we had to add washers in order to get it to tighten, then we spent half an hour trying to find something through it, when we finally did the moon was blurry
My toddler was so excited to open up his the My First Telescope to look at the Super Moon this week.
My son loves to play with it around the house and especially enjoys looking at the moon with it
Very poor quality the thing fell apart and my son was so upset about it.
The telescope looked great and my son was so excited about it
My 5 year old son was very excited to get his telescope to look at the stars and unfortunately, it was very difficult to keep the tripod stable enough for him to see.
My 6 year son found it very hard to find the moon and keep it in focus.
