Great feature

The magnets work perfectly fine at holding the remote to a metal surface, I don't us that feature however

The magnetic feature comes in handy too if you have a magnetic surface in your area of use where it might be convenient to keep your remote, were gravity not an issue

(Which one would think would not be a problem with a remote, but there you are).While I have not tested the magnet (no steel furniture in our living room), it looks like it would be a useful feature.

My favorite features of this product are the magnets in the back that allow the remote to easily attach to nearby objects, and the soft, grippy feel of the cover that is a significant improvement over the slippery remote.

Very good quality case for your apple tv remote and the magnets at the back is a nice feature to have so that you can stick it away from children, i really recommend this case if you are looking to protect your apple tv remote.
