Even on the finest setting (espresso), this grinder still puts out large chunks of bean.

I don't think the setting for number of cups is accurate.

For the price it is a really nice and compact machine with a very satisfactory set of controls to select amount of coffee to grind, and how fine to grind.

Will not grind espresso quality anymore, lots of variation in grind size when set on fine setting, lots of coarse grounds mixed in, making what comes out not espresso but worse than strong coffee from a drip coffee maker.
