Electro Harmonix Micro POG Polyphonic Octave Generator Guitar Effects Pedal

    • Its simple to use, does really good low octave work, and also allows you to get an octaver higher at the same time.
    • If you want to have some fun, run the dry to your guitar amp, run the effect to your bass amp, turn down the normal and high octaves, and enjoy your 1 man or woman band
    • this pedal!I use it for bass, and find that it adds amazing layers to my sound! The sub-octave adds tons of girth to the low end (EQ with care as some of the notes eventually get too low for reason haha), while the high octave is pure, rock organ-sound
    • I reason that if you pair this with fuzz and set the octave levels right, you'll get a good octave-fuzz sound too
    • All I wanted was a single clean "octave up"
    • The sound I bought it for - kind of a simulated twelve-string effect - works nicely... the tracking is spot on and it never gives me that slightly out-of-tune warble that cheaper octave pedals sometimes do
    • It's not a one trick pony, you can get some nice subtle full sounds out of this or go full bore obnoxious octave sounds... combine this with a Big Muff Pi distortion pedal and you can really have some fun.
    • It works as they say, tracking all the way
