Elite Gourmet Elite Cuisine ESB-300X Single Countertop Portable Small Buffet Burner Electric Hot, Coiled Heating Plate, Temperature Control, Dorms, RV, Camping, 750 Watts, Black

    • After doing some research, I learn that most portable burners at this price point do not stay on past a certain temperature/time as a protection mechanism.
    • Cheap burner we bought to heat hookah coals, serves its purpose.
    • A 750 watt electric element should heat things about 2/3 as fast as a standard gas range burner at maximum, and that's just what this does.
    • An amazing burner
    • This is a good extra burner for any uses you might need.
    • This burner is not powerful at all, also the wire is too short!
    • If you dont mind spending the extra money then a more powerful burner is the easy fix but its overkill because you need a more you just need to get above 200 degrees before it shuts off.
    • If you've ever used these types of coals, you know that a flame just doesn't do as well as an electric burner.
    • Awesome burner for the price
    • Great single burner.
    • That being said, we would recommend this burner for the short term, but not for regular use.
    • This small burner is excellent when you don't want to fire up your main cooktop.
    • This is a great little burner.
    • The burner is a bit floppy and whenever I move the thing I keep worrying it will fall out
    • This single burner coil hot plate is nice
    • If you're looking for the cheapest imaginable burner for a small project, this is a decent choice
    • It would be okay for occasional use if you don't need it to get as hot as a stovetop burner.
    • About 5 years ago I had bought a Kitchen Gourmet brand single-burner electric hot plate from a physical Walgreens drugstore for $9.99
    • MaxiMatic ESB-300X Elite Cuisine 750-Watt Single-Burner Electric Hot Plate, Black
    • This is a great burner
    • Wonderful small portable electric burner for travel
    • Other burners fail after 1 month, but this one keeps going.
    • Great burner for natural hookah coals if you are looking for one.
    • When the first MaxiMatic burner failed to boil a pot of water for pasta, I used my microwave oven instead
    • My husband did complain a few times that the burner wasn't secure and would wobble.
    • My husband did complain a few times that the burner wasn't secure and would wobble.
    • Great little burner
    • Update (2/2015):A year later, and this burner is still going strong
    • The burner does its job well but the coils slip around causeing the pot or pan on them to be crooked leading to uneven cooking
    • Highly recommend this burner :)
