This is a painted canvas, very new and you will smell the paint when opened

I did have to return the first screen since there was a spot where the paint was uneven and you could see it while watching certain colors on the screen.

It's the same as a good painted white wall, no better or worse.

Screen looks and works just fine... but the paint or chemical within the screen is so toxic and the smell does not go away

The only negative is the paint on the case can reflect a little of my projector's light, but I probably could lower the screen another inch to remedy that, but I do not feel like going through the hassle of aligning my projector again for the minor reflection.

The picture on it looks crystal clear, in fact as good as my 1080p "55 in.

Other than being an absolute challenge to hang as it is very long and require heavy duty mounting supplies, it works awesome

my only gripe is its hard to pull down to the same spot every time actually almost impossible and if you pull down just a little to far you start to hear a ripping type of sound that made me think its easy to break as I pulled very gently but overal it's good as long as you leave it down most of the time of can make your projector image move up or down slightly with ease
