I chose this particular model because it is one of the only manual tab-tension screen I can find on the market

I'll go with a tab-tensioned screen next time, I'm not sure if I'm going to go with Elite again however.

I gave it five stars considering its low cost -- if you don't need motorized, controlled return, or tab tensioning you don't need anything more than this screen.

When I am ready to upgrade, I will likely go with Elite Screen's tab-tensioned pull down.

All of the research I read indicated that I should purchase a tab tensioned

Sure it's not perfect, tab tensioned, electric, and acoustically transparent

All pull down screens that aren't tab-tensioned will have rippling to some extent, but a well-made pull down screen will look MUCH better than this one

The screen is not tab tensioned or anything fancy, so the edges of the screen curl a little bit -- really not a big deal at all and not worth spending 5x more for!

Using this as a "temporary" setup, will probably get a tab-tension powered screen at some point.

There seems to be no way to get a completely flat surface without either going for a tab-tensioned screen (that costs more than twice as much) or a fixed screen

The picture on it looks crystal clear, in fact as good as my 1080p "55 in.

Other than being an absolute challenge to hang as it is very long and require heavy duty mounting supplies, it works awesome

Lucky for me, screen had no issues and it works as it should.

The screen does show some horizontal lines when very bright scenes are shown but that can be easily toned out if that stuff doesn't bother you, bothers me a

my only gripe is its hard to pull down to the same spot every time actually almost impossible and if you pull down just a little to far you start to hear a ripping type of sound that made me think its easy to break as I pulled very gently but overal it's good as long as you leave it down most of the time of can make your projector image move up or down slightly with ease

but it wrinkles at the very bottom, not enough o distort,
