The motorized screen failed, and this one waves more than a fat girl on a parade float.

However, if you don't like the show you are watching, that little wave will drive you nuts, lol

no waves or wrinkles like others have said but just like some other reviews state it does have a smell to it when you pull the screen

The only issue is that it has waves in it that are noticeable when the camera pans across a scene.

Both lower corners have significant waving going on and it is quite annoying to watch something on it.

I heard about 3 complaints from previous viewers: bent/damaged from shipping, smell from screen; and wrinkled/waves in the screen.

That being said, the screen has really really REALLY bad V-shaped waves out of the box that made it pretty intolerable to use with my LG Ultra Short Throw projector.

During a panning motion in the movie or watching football, the ripples in the screen cause the image to have a "wave" effect which can be annoying

We installed this over 6 weeks ago and have left it open, hanging fully down to use the weight of the screen to straighten out the waves in the material, but it did not straighten out

The screen is bright and super flat, no waves that are noticeable while viewing

This does become annoying during certain scenes of a movie since you can clearly see a wave as the shot pans across it.

The original screen came with some unbearable waves.

After opening and mounting it to the wall, the screen pulled down easily; there were NO wrinkles or waves or other disturbances in the screen.

Love the screen, absolutely no waves or lines at all.

Even with a relatively horizontal projection path, the waves on the screen are distracting and ugly.

Even when projecting straight onto the surface, these waves cause annoying distortions during panning shots or when playing games.

When an image pans across it right you will see that wave in the image

I am not experiencing any waves or curling in the screen like some other reviewers

The picture on it looks crystal clear, in fact as good as my 1080p "55 in.

Other than being an absolute challenge to hang as it is very long and require heavy duty mounting supplies, it works awesome
