Elite Screens Manual SRM Series, 100-Inch 16:9, Slow Retract Pull Down Projection Projector Screen, Model: M100XWH2-SRM

    • That being said, the screen has really really REALLY bad V-shaped waves out of the box that made it pretty intolerable to use with my LG Ultra Short Throw projector.
    • I heard about 3 complaints from previous viewers: bent/damaged from shipping, smell from screen; and wrinkled/waves in the screen.
    • When an image pans across it right you will see that wave in the image
    • no waves or wrinkles like others have said but just like some other reviews state it does have a smell to it when you pull the screen
    • During a panning motion in the movie or watching football, the ripples in the screen cause the image to have a "wave" effect which can be annoying
    • It looks like the characters are riding waves
    • Pros: Great price/value, nice bright screen, good materials, slow retract looks niceCons: Some small waves in the center bottom, slow retract is a little noisyUPDATE
    • The screen is bright and super flat, no waves that are noticeable while viewing
    • Both lower corners have significant waving going on and it is quite annoying to watch something on it.
    • Love the screen, absolutely no waves or lines at all.
    • The only issue is that it has waves in it that are noticeable when the camera pans across a scene.
    • We installed this over 6 weeks ago and have left it open, hanging fully down to use the weight of the screen to straighten out the waves in the material, but it did not straighten out
    • My only problem is that the screen has waves in it
    • Even with a relatively horizontal projection path, the waves on the screen are distracting and ugly.
    • After opening and mounting it to the wall, the screen pulled down easily; there were NO wrinkles or waves or other disturbances in the screen.
    • I've included pics, but it's hard to demonstrate what the waves in the screen feel like without actually seeing it
    • The motorized screen failed, and this one waves more than a fat girl on a parade float.
    • Even when projecting straight onto the surface, these waves cause annoying distortions during panning shots or when playing games.
    • The original screen came with some unbearable waves.
    • This does become annoying during certain scenes of a movie since you can clearly see a wave as the shot pans across it.
    • No wrinkles or waves.
    • However, if you don't like the show you are watching, that little wave will drive you nuts, lol
    • I am not experiencing any waves or curling in the screen like some other reviewers
    • The screen does show some horizontal lines when very bright scenes are shown but that can be easily toned out if that stuff doesn't bother you, bothers me a
    • I have no idea how well the screen works as it was delivered damaged.
    • Other than being an absolute challenge to hang as it is very long and require heavy duty mounting supplies, it works awesome
    • well so far, as well as being easy to pull down.
    • The picture on it looks crystal clear, in fact as good as my 1080p "55 in.
    • Lucky for me, screen had no issues and it works as it should.
    • I also have a decent V wave through the middle (see pics).
