This is my 3rd screen as well as my 3rd projector and this is by far the best screen I have ever had

If you need a brighter image, you might consider the Seymour XD or a brighter projector.-Acoustic transparency is perfectly fine

Folks have said with the right projector, you don't need a screen, that's pretty subjective to

In the meantime, boosting the projector's brightness, contrast and color levels a bit increases the 3D image quality enough that I can live with it

Get a bright projector if you have anything but a dedicated dark room, you won't regret it.

I want to be clear my review is for the:Elite Screens Sable Frame, 100-inch 16:9, Sound Transparent Fixed Frame Projection Projector Screen, ER100WH1-A1080P3.

The quality is good and my projector looks amazing on it.

I use it in a designated movie theater with an expensive Epson projector and it performs as good as it looks.

I performed extensive research on various screens as I was informed by the salesperson where I purchased my projector that the screen is just as important as the projector (I purchased the Sony HW30ES).

With decent projector , you won't go wrong with this screen

but it's safe to say that Avatar looked about 95% as close as it did in the IMAX theater and that was without fine tuning the projector
