Removing 1 star for bad assembly directions, but this makes the room look like a real theater, even when the projector is off.

The projector apps suggest a grey screen if you are using this in a highly illuminated room

I will admit the light rejecting qualities weren't quite that of the higher grade screens but works good enough for me.. plus I purchased this screen more for the higher gain on black levels since I have a very dark room to work with.

Although a non-acoustically transparent screen might be a little more reflective on light, I can watch sports in the middle of the day without the shades pulled, so it is plenty bright enough (dark scenes in movies will be washed out in bright rooms - this is not a gray screen intended for bright rooms).

I would be equally happy with the CineWhite in a dedicated dark room, but we built our basement as an entertaining space with a lot of light/windows and wanted the ALR features of the CineGrey 3D for that reason.

We have a dark room so the white screen is fine

During the day, I do my best to darken the room with black out curtains but some light always creeps through the edges.
