I've read several reviews touting screens and doubted very much that they were worth the money.

As always, my reviews are honest and not influenced by any outside sources

The reviews were right about the initial plastic smell.

Some older reviews are quite critical of this screen

I read the reviews on this screen and in the interest of not spending too much, but still getting an electrically retractable screen, I ignored the terrible reviews and went ahead with the purchase.

Many reviews complained of dents and scratches, and poor customer service when trying to contact Elite Screens, but I decided to take my chances.

I ignored (foolishly) the other reviews on it showing up damaged... and guess what

Screen is great, I've read other reviews where people complained about the motor not working after a few tries.

There always seems to be a certain percentage of people that are unhappy and leave bad reviews no matter how excellent the product is.

I had seen the few negative reviews with problems with screen wrinkling, but seemed to be a recurrent theme with all retractable screens.

I just had to try it, especially after reading all the glowing reviews.
