Not like some of the other systems that I have owned where it feels like weak, flat, dull, speakers paired with a massive, sloppy, booming bass sub.

I just wanted an awesome sounding system in my man cave (smaller sized room in our basement) out of my first 5.1 with great bass to 'feel' action scenes in games and movies.

The bass from the sub woofer literally will rattle my windows if I crank it up

however there had been some private reviewers that claimed the bass was weak.

The sub-woofer has great bass response and has a couple of adjustments to help fine tune it to your liking

The sound quality is quite good - speech is clear, music sounds natural and the bass from the subwoofer is powerful enough while still being fairly tight

The subwoofer produces extremely clean, tight, deep bass, which makes any explosion or thunder shake the couch.

The center channel is clear and detailed, nice stereo image, and solid bass, not boomy or hyped-sounding

The satellite speakers are not too big and not too small but make a lot of fantastic quality noise, the Bass from the system really is amazing

Also, the Energy sub is a bottom-type facing speaker, instead of the older Energy sub I previously owned, which might be causing a weak bass because it is facing a carpeted floor.

personally returned it because of its subwoofer it lacks the real bass.

I listened to Polk, Klipsch and Definitive Tech subwoofers before buying and the Energy provides a much cleaner bass

Clean, Crisp sound with very comfortable Bass management

The resulting surround sound was absolutley wonderful with clear and distinct bass from the subwoofer

The bass is tight, it doesn't distort, and it doesn't overwhelm the satellites either when playing music or watching a bass-heavy movie like Avatar or most of what Hollywood puts out these days.

Clear, crisp sound with good bass

The bass is absolutely incredible but it never dominates the sound

The highs are excellent and clear and the bass is also great..the fullness is missing in the middle

Enough bass for any type of gaming experience

After set up, the bass worked poorly and the satalite speakers not at All.

In a 15'x15' area the bass was too much and overpowered the speakers

The two 8 inch subs put out cleaner and tighter bass than my 12 inch infinity sub ever did.

We have a large room (15'x20') with vaulted ceilings and I was fully expecting them to get 'lost'.Volume is great, quality is great and the bass is outstanding

Energy Speakers sounded great out of the box, bass module is awesome, I had Bose and Polk but this one has a very pleasant bass, no muddy sound like Polk
